How Our Flyer & Poster Design Works
A step-by-step look at the setup, the moving parts, and what you receive when we build your flyer & poster design.
The Technical Details
Artwork is built to the printer's specification from the first file rather than adapted afterwards. Documents are set at final trim size with three millimetre or one eighth inch bleed on every edge, a safe margin holding all text clear of the trim, and crop marks applied at output. Raster content is placed at 300 pixels per inch at final print size; large-format posters viewed at distance are set proportionally lower by agreement rather than upscaled from a small original, since resampling cannot add detail. Colour is prepared in CMYK for offset and digital printing, with rich black used for large solid areas and a single plate black for small text to avoid registration fringing. Spot colours are specified where brand accuracy matters. Fonts are embedded or converted to outlines so no substitution occurs at the printer. Deliverables are press-ready PDF written to a PDF/X standard with the correct output intent, accompanied by an RGB version at screen resolution for digital sharing, and the editable source file is retained.
